This month’s value word is responsibility. This comes at an apt time with the country deciding who should be in Government! Thinking about the responsibility that the government now has in running the country and the responsibility the Prime Minister has on a day to day basis is something that children at Bells Farm have been looking at.

Responsibility is an important value – we all have responsibilities. Teachers have responsibility to teach children well and to ensure that they have the best education possible. Children have a responsibility to work hard in school and to do their best. We all have a responsibility to look after each other, our fellow human beings and our planet. We take this value seriously at Bells Farm. We are currently working towards sustainable school status, which involves us in being more responsible about the amount of heating and electricity we use. We are also responsible citizens of the world and through a vast range of fund raising initiatives we have helped people and children in this country and throughout the world.

Responsibility is something for us all to think about.
