Thoughfulness

thought001

Our value word this month is thoughfulness. This is very timely as we fast approach Christmas and all the frantic shopping for presents. This sometimes makes people a little bit cross and annoyed, especially when they are out and about trying to get through crowds and traffic! In school we have lots going on and in all the excitiment we can sometimes forget how to treat and speak to each other. So at this time of year, when people are being thoughtful and buying and giving presents, try and think of other ways we can show thoughtfulness.

Maybe you could:
• Offer to hold the door open for someone
• Say good morning or good afternoon
• Help to tidy up the classroom or your bedroom at home

I am sure that you can think of lots of different ways to show thoughtfulness. Happy Christmas!

  2. I think being thoughtful means being kind and caring. I feel I have been thoughtful to Abdulbari – making him feel welcome at our school.
